Florian was born 35 years ago and grew up in the sunny Caribbean, surrounded by the natural beauty of Martinique. When his parents moved back to Europe for work, they chose the south of France to ease the transition, avoiding a stark climate shift. The family settled in Montpellier, where Florian spent 15 years exploring Europe. It was there that he discovered a new world, full of diverse cultures far removed from his Creole upbringing.

At 18, uncertain about his future, Florian enrolled in law school but quickly grew disillusioned. When his mother passed away two years later, he realized life was too short to spend it doing something he didn’t enjoy. Motivated by this realization, he made a bold decision to change course and pursue a degree in tourism at business school.

An internship in Brussels turned out to be a turning point. Florian fell in love with the city and the warm, welcoming people he met. It felt like the right place for him, and he decided to make it his home.
